Beyond the regular class schedule, we make it a priority to help pupils realise their full learning potential. We use teaching methods stimulating the desire to read and experiment and bolster motivation, initiative and independence. This is why 5^th grade pupils attend a one-semester course in reading skills (LeKo) and one in scientific experimentation (NatEx). Each of these courses is taught by a team of two teachers. This allows the class to work in smaller groups. In 6^th grade, those pupils who have not chosen the arts emphasis continue with the reading and science course.
